Although a modern station with automatic barriers etc. the Stirling Station has many attributes of the long gone days of Scottish Railways. Look up into the elaborate truss work of the roof, and especially note the classic railway platform kiosk, which is very special.

We asked last the station whilst walking g into town from our hotel. Great location, brightest to the town centre and main bus routes with stops across the road. Plenty of parking spaces.

Really, it's a very average railway station, there's nothing special about it at all. The parking is either a few feet away, or a block away, and the coffee shop is perfectly adequate, but nothing to get excited about one way or the other.

Was in the Stirling coffee house at the station and the staff member was friendly and dealt well with a few less than desirable patrons. She deserves a raise friendly and kept customers safe

Helpful ScotRail employees coupled with an historic building make this a pretty unique spot. It's also a busy little station with trains to and from Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee, to name a few.

There is a good ticket office, snack places, toilets, like many rail stations. Better than some, nothing special.
