After visiting the Bannockburn centre we took the short trip to see the statue of one of Scotlands greatest leaders. Very moving and well worth a short visit.

The statue is located behind the Battle of Bannockburn visitor centre, so do not forget to visit before you leave! :)

I took my daughter to see the statue both because of the significance of the battle and because her great-grandpa worked on the statue when it was cast back in the early 1960s. The intricate detailing of the bronze is well worth seeing.
