This theatre is a gem and perfect for its latest production: An Ideal Husband. The witty Oscar Wilde old warhorse contrasts well to the biopic A Happy Prince which is also currently on general release. The theatre is a five minute walk from Charing Cross...More

Quick bag check, pleasant staff. Great show! Would very much like to return to see their next Oscar Wilde play: The importance of being Ernest. Nice old theatre, talented actors, good decor.

"An Ideal Husband" is a favourite Wilde play. The charm of the Vaudeville interior is a good setting, and the stage set is splendid. The Victorian moral dilemmas are portrayed beautifully for a 21st century audience. Frances Barber is supremely brilliant as Mrs Chevely. Freddie...More

It is always nice to see a theater from yesteryear in good keep. This is a charming place with a good stage and lobby area too. The only comment is that there can be so many stairs to climb for the gents' restroom!

We saw a wonderful production of Oscar Wilde's "Lady Windermere's Fan" at the Vaudeville in March 2018. The theater is lovely but, alas, the seats...We bought our seats the day before the performance and ended up in the "Upper Circle" with a lot of school...More

Read a few of the reviews on this and I would say it’s pretty much as Wilde would have wished it. Not to be take too seriously a bit tongue in cheek. But it loses none of its wit and charm. Jenifer Saunders steals the...More

Apart from the glimmer of talent from Jennifer Saunders, this was a very amateurish and “music hall” style production. O.k., so it’s Oscar Wilde, but the cast did not make the most of the considerable “gems” of Wilde-ness, and it sank to second rate theatre.

Super, comfortable and intimate auditorium. Thoroughly enjoyed the well cast play - and especially Ann Reid and Co’s marvellous little musical interludes. A happy evening well spent.

We saw this play as part of an Oscar Wilde season. It does not disappoint. The upper classes are shown to be shallow and uncaring. The theatre is a delight, fascinating Victorian decor and helpful staff. A little more leg room would be nice, but...More

They upgraded us on entry to the side seats which were excellent so can't say what the view from the boxes would be but I think you can see well from every seat'!
