I have come here several times over the last 7 years and have never found the Castle open however you can have a good walk around the extensive and beautiful ancient estate. The highlight for me is the 18th century deer pen.
he investment into the castle and surrounding area makes this site worth a visit.Whether you are looking for a historical tour, a sandwich in the cafe or a picnic in the grounds this venue is well worth a visit.
