Called here with my daughter who also is entusiastic about the environment. We were really impressed by the park considering its only 18 years old. The reed beds and hides were beautiful a great way to watch the wildlife

A great little place to spend an hour or a full day depending on how long you want to spend taking in the surroundings and obviously the birds. My wife and I visited with the grandson, he loved it. Set out well within the wetland....More

Pretty place with birds and insects to see. Good for dragonflies and damselflies. You can see kingfisher, little egret, heron, green sandpiper, swans, ducks, cormorant plus there is a little bird hide too. Simple cafe and toilet in reception. Very friendly. Good for photographers.

Came here after seeing pictures on Instagram that people had got here. I didn’t see much however my first ever sighting of dipper made it all worth while. The car park is a bit small however this would be my only complaint

Despite the wholesale felling of trees a visit here is worth considering. Plenty of parking although there is a charge for non DWT members. Small café and toilets.

Yes dogs are allowed but have to be kept on leads so they don't disturb wildlife. Dogs are welcome in café and café sells lovely homemade cake and small gifts. Well worth a visit. Enjoy.
