Tap and bottles is one of the best pubs in the north west, nevermind just Southport. The beer selection rotates constantly and showcases the best of both the UK and international craft beer scenes. The prices are fair for what they sell. The service and...More

Visited on a quiet Thursday afternoon, my second time after a great time there last Christmas. Beers were great, and still a good atmosphere although not busy. But the service this time let the place down, I ordered the cheese slate and a pork pie,...More

Glad we took the time to find this micropub. Friendly, good choice of ales at reasonable prices. Don't expect pub grub, although there is cheese and pork pies available if you get peckish. Well worth taking the time to find this place.

This a great little unpretentious micropub, fairly basic but with great beers, both craft keg and cask. No food except cheese board, pork pies and crisps etc. Best in town by a street.

Fabulous range of beers and ciders and also does a limited wine range. Good atmosphere, no TV. This place organises many events so keep an eye on their website for details.

Quite probably the finest micro-pub in Lancashire and Merseyside. Well, out of the ones I've been to. And that's a lot of them. Superb service; great knowledge; ace beers; nice location. It's got the lot for me. 5* without hesitation. Keep up the good work...More
