Great location on the main street of Southport. The staff were very pleasant the hotel albeit basic was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel for a short break.

Lord Street, like many other towns in the UK, is now a sad place to visit. Previous reviewers have said it all. All the really quality shopping has gone. We won't return.

I seem to remember an Indian art shop on lords street, I think it was at one end. Very interesting shop. I wish I could remember which end???

There are 2 Wetherspoons on Lord Street where you can get fish and chips, I think Friday is Fish and Chips day so you get a drink included too. There is a large fish and chips at the foot of the pier behind the carousel... More
