Had a lovely walk around the lake and over the old Victorian bridge. The gardens and lake has changed so much and for the better. Took some lovely photos.

Nice and relaxing walk around the lake with plenty to see with the wildlife on the lake and the beautiful array of plants and flowers. Just keep away from the pier end where there is a very loud club act singing which spoils the general...More

Family of 6 went for day out in school holidays. 2 adults. Kids 15, 12, 9 and 5. All had an icecream from the numerous vans that were near the lake. The play area was fab and suitable for all ages. Excellent.

Delightful place to while away a sunny afternoon, plenty of seating around the lakeside. Just sit back and watch the world go by. Minutes away from Lord Street.

Loved walking around Marina. Needed a cup od tea so went to the cafe under the pier - rip off £2 for a stewed cup of tea served by not very clean people. Was told charged due to staff wages!!!

Not far from the town centre, the lake is surrounded by lovely gardens with plenty of seating. As the weather was excellent, the lake was full of motor boats, and people queuing up to hire them. The miniature railway and pleasureland are located nearby.

I don't know for sure but cannot see why not. We did see dogs swimming in the water.
