Wonderful imaginative portrayal of the Isle of Mann history. Particularly loved the replica viking ship and warriors. Well worth a visit.

Visit the House of Manannan after Peel Castle for a more in-depth history of the IOM. It includes many dioramas, full size objects of interest and stories. Very good visit. Plan at least an hour to 90 minutes. Good gift shop too.

An interesting small museum in Peel featuring an insight into Manx history. There are also some exhibitions which change annually. There is a shop and a tea room. Entrance is free except to the Kingdom of Man exhibit.

Didn't know what to expect but the lady on the reception desk explained about the museum and the displays. Seems it's popular with school parties on day we were there. Nice cafe adjacent to it

Excellent and interactive exhibits. Well laid out and easy to navigate. If the weather hadn't been so good or the surrounding landscape so interesting, we would like to have stayed longer.
