First time I gave been on a ferry crossing. Staff were very helpful at both ends. Ricky going out but more steady coming back. Good clean boat. Lots to do ie cinema, food court, bar, shop.

Train from Manchester to Liverpool Lime Street, use same ticket to get underground to James Street near sea terminal. Straightforward onto ship we kept our bags with us. Had to carry bags up stairs so may be unsuitable for some.Plenty of room and easy disbarment....More

Totally depends on the weather on the day. I've had really smooth crossings but also really rough ones.

I think that you are remaining in the UK, but may have to declare it on disembarkation in Douglas.
