Went with my daughter for an evening stroll. First time here in about 15 years despite it being only a mile from home. Forgot just how pretty it is. Lots of wildlife on the lakes and trees in full bloom. Nice 30 minutes walk.

Not the nicest of weather, but still some great views. Springtime flowers, native bluebells, wild garlic, lots of birdlife, watched a grebe at work for his supper. Didn't do the full walk, but we will, next time we go.

We live close to the lakes and it is peaceful to walk there after work to wind down. Excellent now they have made alterations to the pathways. Lovely to see so much wildlife. Well done Wigan Council!!

Three lakes/reservoirs, surrounded by pretty countryside and lots of wildlife. Tracks are quite well maintained and the views are nice. Not much else there but enjoyable for an hour’s walk.

Nice if you like a walk around a reservoir! No amenities, except car park. Ok for a walk, but only once in a while - nicer places to visit.

I went with my son along with our 2 dogs. Great set up for dog walking, long winding paths, lovely waterside views, and sparkling array of wildlife. Good parking facilities. Away from traffic so a very quiet and peaceful setting.
