I met the woman who means more to me than anyone else in this world on the bandstand in Mesnes Park. I owe an eternal debt of gratitude to that bandstand. It is set in a well manicured and lovely park. Perfect.
I like to walk through Mesnes Park when on my way to and from Wigan. It’s a lovely green space with a duck pond, cafe, children’s play area and much more. Nice to see the flower beds even at this time of year.
Flowers are planted and the overall look is lovely. Nice place to go for a walk. Suitable for all ages and abilities. Places to sit. Parking nearby - paid for. Cafe at the top.Bit slow service but the food was nice. Coffee was Ok
