Visited during heritage open day, very enjoyable and lots of history set out into different countries and times, lots of finds and items to see and touch Toilets and refreshments available and some parking spaces

Fantastic couple of hours out. There are two real mummies to look at too. Kept children entertained for hours. Learning without knowing as it's factual and fun.

So much to see from regions all around the silk road. My favorite items were the chinese pottery. Lovely little cafe too!

Lots of interesting artefacts wirh an area for children. The children's area has costumes, activities and colouring. My 7 year old grandson really enjoyed himself.

What a great little place. £1.50 per adult to get in and free parking right outside. Friendly staff. Great and varied displays and a fun temporary exhibition too. The mummies were gruesome. I loved the easy to read info sheets and range of items. Lovely...More

Probably one of the most interesting and best laid out museums we have ever visited well worth a second visit 10/10 for staff and exhibits.
