We are life member of the Friends of the Cathedral and have been going there for the last 50 years. Petty, I know, but it does grate when the cathedral guides pounce on you the minute you come in the door. I know they're just...More

Although its a bit of a climb, which some might find a little taxing the effort is worthwhile. I am not a church goer but I love looking at historical buildings including church ,cathedrals etc

Possibly one of the most picturesque cities in the world, with its ancient cathedral with links to Harry Potter, its cobbled streets and photo opportunities around every corner. Not to mention its a unesco world heritage site as well.

Happened to visit the cathedral when the carol service (in aid of the NSPCC) was starting. Stayed and joined in with my daughter and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful place and well worth a visit.
