This is a lovely little beach very clean and well maintained ... not very big but would recommend visiting it’s central to everything with fish and chip shops all along the street and a Lickety split just opposite ... plus a little shopping centre.

A nice place to visit & a chance to see Tommy a statue of a First World War soldier by artist Ray Lonsdale on the seafront. A brisk walk next to the sea followed by a Fish & Chip lunch at Downey's ended up being...More

Was riding from Durham city to Seeham. It is beautiful but not special. Still would come back. It was a Saturday during April and only a few people.

Major improvements have been undertaken over the past few years, and is almost unrecognisable to the Seaham of 30 years ago. A lovely promenade dotted with chic cafe's, bar's and restaurants. Beautiful beaches and a stunning marina area.

Spent a few lovely hours here collecting stones and fossil hunting. Very long way down to beach but free car park. Would recommend a visit.

The dog loves a walk on the beach and as we live right beside it we spend a lot of time there with him. It’s a ocular spot with dog walkers glass collectors and fishermen. When you have finished there are plenty of coffee shops...More

You can have dog on the beach. Literally hundreds had dogs. It was too far in car to take ours though :-(
