Visited all areas of the beach from the town to the end and collected nearly 3kgs of sea glass in 3 days! Including some beautiful multicoloured pieces and large nuggets! We will be back!

Seaham has been cleaned up since I visited as a child. In fact the whole of the northeast has been cleaned up since I was a child. Search for seaglass and shells on the beach. Eat well in the local restaurants. Enjoy!

Fabulous. Lovely sand and really clean. Loads of gems to find. Parking is free on top and easy to walk down to, loads of different ways. Our dog loves it. Love it.

A new and beautifully executed sculpture on the seafront - but the Pizza Parlour local to it was the culinary low point of the year.

The pebble beach was disgusting. Most of it looks like yellow toxic waste. Rubbish Human excrement and sanitary pads made it even more of an unpleasant experience. Make sure your jabs are up to date before venturing here

You can have dog on the beach. Literally hundreds had dogs. It was too far in car to take ours though :-(
