Just what a pub should be Front bar with cherry barman Benches, stools and a comfortable couple of chairs. Tardis like snugs through the back.

A proper little friendly pub. Unpretentious lunch menu. The corned beef pie , chips , mushy peas and gravy was excellent value at £6. The real ale was acceptable, but I'm not a fan of the Marstons portfolio. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere.

Quaint little pub in a good location. The drinks were very nice but we could not order any food - they only serve on weekdays.

Lovely little pub that we often visit when we’re in Durham. Large selection of drinks and nice crisps!! Staff are always pleasant. Definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I dropped in for a meal recently and we were both really impressed. The food was tasty and they have a good range of beers. If I hadn’t been driving we would have stayed there all afternoon. The room you first enter...More
