Steeped in history and full of interesting rooms. The council meeting room alone is so interesting. Councillor John Murphy gave us a talk and tour and it was fascinating. You won’t look at town halls in the same way again!

We were given an impromptu tour (courtesy of Jake) of this beautiful building, again, as we found with other places in & around Barrow, so much history

Local people sometimes take this wonderful building for granted. A work of art on our doorstep.Hire for weddings etc. Just nice to walk around the outside of this lovely building admiring the Victorian craftsmanship is enough.
