Short cruise but long enough to admire the scenery. Knowledgeable staff making it interesting as well as stunning to see. A bit cold on top deck in February but cosy & warm on the lower deck. Would say good value for money

Certainly something worth doing. The surroundings are beautiful, and a stroll around Ambleside is fun. The skippers' commentary was probably informative, and on our return trip, when we could hear it, even a little amusing. Depending on the weather, there can be a bit of...More

Very pleasant leisure cruise from Bowness in Windermere to Ambleside. You can get off at your destination and return to your departure point. We didn’t as it was pouring with rain.

Must visit experience if you’re in Bowness. We did the blue cruise and it was well worth the money. A lovely experience on a sunny, snowy winters day in the Lakes.
