A lifesize excellent statue of the King who started it all of at Weymouth. Pretty sure King George himself would be pleased.

When you come to Weymouth you can’t fail to notice this statue of mad King George. It is bright and colourful and well maintained. My daughter loved the unicorn.

We came across this statue while walking along the prom. It is in a good location, this is where all the buses stop. Lots of people taking photos.

This statue is an obstruction in the esplanade and of a King we try to forget. Maybe USA citizens are interested as they successfullky revolted under his reign.

An impressive statue in a prominent location, on The Esplanade, surrounded by some interesting buildings.

As it was the king who was responsible you should take a minute or two to admire his statue at the 'town' end of the Esplanade.

You really must visit this, bring a packed lunch or use one of the many eatery’s around, i marvelled at this for around 30 seconds could have been less, well the time it took to walk past infact. Highly recommended if visiting Dorset.
