Just a beautiful little park with a castle attached! As you take the coastal walk from Weymouth to Portland you come across this lovely little place overlooking Weymouth Bay. Well worth a visit and an excellent place for a picnic

Mid-September is a good time to visit if you don’t want crowds of people there too. Castle had lots of information on the various boards. Shame the cafe wasn’t open as it’s Facebook page had it open today.

Had lunch here. Poor menu with preferred choice not available. Relatively poor portion sizes and not particularly warm. Good coffee. Poor seating with only shade available under a tree. Beware the toilet !!
