This was once the original Weymouth, across the town bridge you came into Melcombe Regis. Lots of eclectic shop, fish + chips, sea foods + restaurants. Can then take a stroll out to stone pier or to the Nothe ford

Hang around later on and you might pick up some free crabbing gear that other holiday makers leave behind. Our kids loved the crabbing and we came back for more the next day when we also took the row boat ferry

We love a good walk down to the harbour! My young boys enjoy looking at the boats and we like to watch the bridge go up so the taller boats can pass through. There’s a delightful tea shop on the corner and it’s also a...More

Beautiful evening walk along to the harbour from our hotel. Dreaming which boat we would buy when we win the lotto.
