Bournemouth and Durdle Door Jurassic Full Day Private Tour

Welcome to another great London away-day. You will travel through England's counties and countryside to Durdle Door. Here you will have a great time to explore the splendid rock formation that overlooks the English Channel with a beautiful, natural calcareous archway. Did you know that The Jurassic Coastline is a World Heritage Site in England? About 25 million years ago, the African tectonic plate hit the European plate causing huge pressure to build the alpine chain. A layer of hard calcareous stone, almost vertically out of the seabed, formed the Durdle Door itself. Heading to the east, we will reach the lovely beach city of Bournemouth. You will find plenty to see and do here. Bournemouth beach is the ideal location regardless of the weather or time of the year, whether it's chilling on a deckchair and walking along traditional seaside piers or a relaxing beach hut. Not only Bournemouth but also Lulworth Cove will amaze you with its natural wonder. Join us for a great day out!

Traditional Victorian feel beach with souvenir shops. Pleasant enough for a walk and you can see North Forte. I'm sure its great when sunny!

We took our granddaughter here for an afternoon on a sunny October afternoon. We had a great time. The most pleasing aspect was the cleanliness even in the dog section though there are always some that spoil it for the others by leaving their rubbish behind. There are all the facilities you would expect nearby. The sand is great for building castles and playing in. Great sand sculptures nearby. Definitely one of the best beaches I have been to in this country.

Just a weekend in Weymouth in the first week in September & we really enjoyed the place! The weather was warm, sunny & the beach was busy with families. The beach was clean, a little shingle in parts but generally very nice. Lots to do like traditional donkey rides & beach huts to hire by the day. There also seemed to be sections where beach guards were on duty & also sections where dogs were permitted. It’s a wide bay, nice promenade to walk on.

Had a lovely stroll down the beach, the sand is clean and rubbish free. Designated dog zones. The beach is big enough for everyone to social distance and it wasn’t busy. We spent a nice couple of hours here. Lots of shops and places to eat.

Best beach ever, absolutely love it even in a rainy day. Safest beach I have been on and kept so clean. The staff are amazing from litter pickers to lifeguards
