I found this place as part of a 6 mile 'Walking the Riding' walk around North Cottingham. The walk is a real mixed bag - including a Victorian waterworks, a massive electricity sub-station, huge greenhouses AND this nature reserve. It was a highlight of the...More

The place is a wonderful colour of autumn spectrums, with crisp leaves and woodland smells. It's such a shame that dog owners cannot pick up their waste. Along the track to the entrance of the trees, it is literally strewn with dog waste. Shame on...More

It's a few months since our visit but it is worth venturing in if you are in the area. The circular walk was developed for the millennium and the trees and shrubs planted then are now maturing nicely. An hour's walk here is very relaxing.
