Stunning waterfalls. The walk from Callender to the falls is well advertised, but there is also a falls car park (free parking). From there it is a half mile walk to the falls. It's a good path and fairly level apart from one slope about...More

The walk starts about one kilometer from the main road of Callander and there’s a decent sized car park from which to begin. No special gear is required. It takes about 30 minutes each way. Both the waterfall and the recently constructed wooden bridge make...More

Easy scenic walk with good parking area. We stayed in Callander at the Abbotsford Lodge which I highly recommend. This is one of the closest nature walks to town.

Lovely walk to the falls with our boys ages 8 & 9. No hiking footwear required, we wore trainers. Lovely views along a flat path. There’s the bottom car park with a 500m fairly steep hill and there’s the top car park which gives you...More

Very pleasantly surprised by the falls and the bridge: a beautiful spot. These are very popular with the locals, or at least I assume most of them were. Quite a few families there with swimming kit, towels, picnics etc. The pools beneath the falls looked...More

I would recommend continuing up the road to the top car park where you can go no further. We parked at the bottom car park and had an extra 500 m or so to walk. The falls are very photogenic. Interesting rock formations.

Hari OM Yes, the walk along from the car park is well made and quite easily traversed with a pram I would say. However, at the point close to the falls, it drops away at a steep angle and curvy, then everything over the... More

Yes it would be possible as there is a reasonable track to follow. If the person is in a wheelchair this would be fine. It would not be possible to go any further than the Bridge as ground is very rough from then on. Hope... More
