It's old, it's plain, it's history, and it's interesting. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. My hotel was around the corner from the Hall, of course, the Hall is around the corner from just about everything in the village.

Attractive building and items of historical interest thoughtfully displayed. The member of staff within was most knowledgeable and was a pleasure to talk with.

Original timbers give a sense of time. Visit upstairs to see the debating room with a very long table. What must these walls have seen and heard?

Well preserved delightful building - well worth a visit. Adjacent to a modern rather ugly building which rather detracts from its setting

We had a good look round the museum, and were directed here. Looking for things to do on a day out - anything goes - we paid a visit. There was an interesting exhibit downstairs on the WWI hospital and upstairs had an amusing 'debate'...More

A charming old building - when we visited it was playing host to a lovely exhibition of work by local artists.

A pointless "attraction" in the middle of a beat up and run down "market town" in Wiltshire, one of the least attractive towns in the area. Could be useful if you are stranded in the town and beset by a horde of flesh eating zombies...More

This is 15th Century Guildhall was used as the Council meeting room into the 19th Century. The restoration in 2001 was sympathetic and it is easy to see the structure of the building. Rather spoilt by a tacky exhibition in the main hall. But a...More
