We had to spend few hours from Bristol to Heathrow. We decided to stop by Chippenham, the Yelde House is amazing and unexpected. In addition to walk in the old market and on the greens by the river

It's old, it's plain, it's history, and it's interesting. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. My hotel was around the corner from the Hall, of course, the Hall is around the corner from just about everything in the village.

This is a small hall but very interesting. The chap on reception was very pleasant and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Attractive building and items of historical interest thoughtfully displayed. The member of staff within was most knowledgeable and was a pleasure to talk with.

Well preserved delightful building - well worth a visit. Adjacent to a modern rather ugly building which rather detracts from its setting

A charming old building - when we visited it was playing host to a lovely exhibition of work by local artists.
