While visiting the area we decided to have a stroll along the waterfront at Christchurch seeing the swans & the boats moored up. There are seats along the waterfront to take a break from walking in.

A lovely calming little quay, there was lots of activity whilst we were there, a nice little cafe and art gallery close by, boat trips and boat hire is also available. A nice place to sit and watch the world.

…seemingly as popular with the many swans, ducks and gulls as it is with the visitors. There always seems to be something going on amongst the boats, boat trips and passing paddle boarders. A delight at any time but, on a sunny day in early...More

It was certainly open last week. Unless water restrictions are introduced (and no sign of these yet in the area) I see no reason why it would not be. It might be worth checking on the Council website at the last moment... More
