Lovely quaint bar with the added feature of a Game of Thrones door depicting Eps 4 of Series 6. Staff were very friendly and the refreshments rather enjoyable.

Pity about the Game of Thrones banner across the front, presumably resulting from the ‘door’ inside (and yes we are fans), but actually a great traditional pub. Two private booths and a pool table at the back. Really liked this place.

We called in to this bar while we were waiting for cafe merlot to open, it is an amazing pub, old worldly, little cubicles/rooms up the stairs which you don’t see nowadays. The Guinness was very smooth and mellow, well you have to try it...More

Quite an experience. Step back into the past: Quaint Victorian original décor with an amazing wall of fame of both GAA sports and rugby! Well done. Smitnwicks is our favourite drink in Ireland. Thank you for this haven from the rain!!

This pub had such a great charm to it. The well decorated and quite cosy downstairs was contrasting to the upstairs nightclub section, both of which our party thoroughly enjoyed.

After a delicious dinner at the Cafe Merlot we adjourned to the William Blake to try some good Irish Whiskey. When asked for a recommendation our barkeep suggested Jameson Caskmates as a reasonably priced but delicious choice. We followed he recommendation and added a "wee...More
