We called in to this bar while we were waiting for cafe merlot to open, it is an amazing pub, old worldly, little cubicles/rooms up the stairs which you don’t see nowadays. The Guinness was very smooth and mellow, well you have to try it...More

Quite an experience. Step back into the past: Quaint Victorian original décor with an amazing wall of fame of both GAA sports and rugby! Well done. Smitnwicks is our favourite drink in Ireland. Thank you for this haven from the rain!!

We stopped in here to view the Game of Thrones door and get a pint of cider. The bartender was friendly and informative and gave us the GoT Doors tour booklet as well as our first passport stamps. I loved the atmosphere of this pub...More

Popped in after an excellent meal in the restaurant downstairs and ended up ordering a couple of local gin and tonics (lovely). We were here to look at the Game of Thrones door and get our passport stamped (door 6 for us). Lovely evening.

Have been in here several times with friends - love, love, love it! Always really busy, with a lovely, friendly vibe. Bar sometimes is three or four deep, just adds to the atmosphere as you make new friends waiting to be served! Live bands on...More
