There are no airs and graces about this ferry. You drive down to the slipway, wait a few minutes and take the 2 minute trip across the River Fowey. £5 for a car seems a bit steep but I suppose you are saving that in...More

The ferry provides a short cut from Fowey to Looe and Polperro. It only takes a few minutes and is £5 per car and £2 for foot passengers. We’ve used the ferry on several occasions would recommend.

Love it, it’s such fun and you can get out of the car and go as a foot passenger, when traveling from Mevagissey it saved us time in visiting Fowey, we went there to hire a boat to go down the estuary

We watched the ferry from our cottage window and used it twice - once on foot and once in the car. A very enjoyable experience.

This great little car ferry is a wonderful service that takes just a few short minutes to cross the estuary, but gives you a short time to relax and enjoy the views of Fowey.
