Our first visit to Fowey and we really loved it. Fantastic little town looking across the picturesque estuary. Lovely independent shops in Fore Street. Pubs and restaurants to take in the views. Well worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Small old fishing village but looks like one of the advertised holiday get aways. The water is clear blue, people very Nice, lots of boats to hire, beach to visit, wild life to explore...

This estuary is deeper than you think. Deep enough to take bulk carrying ships that take the China Clay away to be used in so many products. These products then go all over the world. Take a risk on the water with Fowey river cruises.

Had a lovely midweek break here. Beautiful estuary filled with boats. Picturesque Fowey connected to Working harbour at Polruan by regular ferries. Lovely walks, close to Eden Project. Boats and kayaks to hire. Small beach at readymoney cove good for swimming.

A marvellous location to sit and watch the world go by. Plenty of benches and very close to the shops, restaurants and bars. The local passenger ferry also operates from here to Mevagissey and also across the river to Polruan.

The views are stunning from the sea to the river just fantastic. The river is a busy harbour with good shopping in Fowey. But just so much more . Explore
