When having a drink in the cafe we saw dogs with their paws on the tables, also some licking and snuffling all over the table tops and crockery. Other (wet) dogs were rubbing up against the furniture and people. All the owners appeared unconcerned. This...More

Absolutely disgusted by the attitude of the staff in this cafe today .. asked them a simple question to be looked at and spoken to like that disgraceful, I just walked out .... obviously they don't want people's custom

Visited yesterday with my partner, absolutely lovely walk. There’s a lovely manmade waterfall and a lake. Really nice forest walk along the stream. Will be going back soon to do some more exploring!! Also it’s FREE parking!!

Took the dog today for a very wintry walk. Looked beautiful in the snow. There are lots of paths around the park. Though we only walked around the lake today which was frozen around the edges. Great place - we love it.

You can walk up to a 6-mile circular route through this reclaimed mining nature reserve. Good paths round the lake for wheelchairs and lots of sculptures to see. Good for bird watching in the spring and something unusual can always turn up on the lake.
