This is very close to the Sage, and is a complete contrast. There is a path round the exterior, and a small seating area. Inside there are some beautiful stained glass windows, and information on the history of the local area.

If you have never been to Gateshead it is worth just popping in to this centre to bone up on the history, or just sit inside or outside and enjoy the view.

This beautiful old church is the oldest in Gateshead which was converted to an information centre covering the history of Gateshead from its early days till this day. Wonderful place to be and very interesting history. Well worth the visit!

Very interesting place full of Newcastle history, well laid out and informative. It was formerly a church so the building and churchyard is interesting in its own right. We really enjoyed our visit
