Worth a visit. Easy to find and great parking. It's quite breathtaking to actually see it for real. It's very well looked after and the surroundings are kept clean and tidy. Great for photography.

Whilst you can see this from afar, actually going and seeing it close up is very impressive indeed. You can really appreciate the scale and ambition of both the Council, who commissioned it, and the artist.

Whilst the Angel was magnificent, it would be good to have some more refreshments there. One ice cream van! What about having picnic tables, food outlets, toilets, souvenirs. Make some money for the region, create some jobs. Just a thought?

Such an overwhelming feeling of proudness.Yes I am from the north east but it still stands as a symbol for the north east of England being up against it you have a fantastic view around you. Please visit kids love it and so do adults.
