About
The Tap & Tonic, said to be Grantham and Lincolnshire's first Speakeasy & cocktail bar, is a venue unique to the area. In true Speakeasy bar style it is secretly located behind The Trickling Tap in an old restored Victorian outbuilding.

We decided to try this little place out after many recommendations, you are spoilt for choice on the different cocktails there's something for everyone. We said we'd definitely go back on a 2-4-1 night, I'd advise booking as this place is very cosy.

Good service but drinks and prices very overrated. Not even sure if alcohol was put in any of the cocktails. Very watered down versions were received. Waitress spilt a drink over one of our guests and no offer of a free drink was made until...More

Visited on a Friday evening, having booked a table. We were told that the table was booked for two hours but we were not forced out at the end of the two hours. The atmosphere was nice and cosy, the place warm despite the snow...More

Some lovely cocktails in a more sophisticated atmosphere than many of Grantham's bars.  Don't know what the vibe is like later in the evenings as we've only ever been here early doors, but it's such a pleasant change to be able to drink in a...More

As most of the other reviews say, it is advisable to book a table (as we were leaving there were people being turned away at the door) I booked a table for 2 on a Friday night, which I only booked 2 days prior to...More

What can I say about this place other than it is amazing. The list of cocktails goes on and on and there is far to many to choose in one evening. I would recommend booking well in advance and, if your making a romantic night...More

So-My first visit was in Jan 2017, when I met up with a friend for her Birthday Celebration at the Tap & Tonic. The one thing I did noticed on that first visit, was the lack of Blended Cocktails on their list and when I...More

There is a lot of choice here. But once you have decided what you want they all seem to be very tasty. It's all table service too, which is good and makes it feel a bit classier. My only small gripe is that it is...More

Having never frequented a cocktail bar before, we didn't know what to expect, but I have to say the whole experience was an excellent one. Pages and pages to choose from but finally decided on Rhubarb Gin and tonic, followed by French 75 (gin, lemon,...More
