Superb little gem in Grantham, run mostly by volunteers. Situated on the main shopping street, it’s clean, tidy, friendly, knowledgable. Little cafe serves simple drinks, biscuits and there’s a tiny gift shop. I spent an hour looking round, things are laid out neatly with plenty...More

Went to Grantham early August in the high season and was most disappointed that the museum was closed. Also the tourist information office was difficult to locate.Forget this place unless you want to see the shop that Maggy Thatcher was born and bre up in

I had an excellent time perusing the information displayed in this museum. Would never have thought Grantham had such claims to fame. Lots of fascinating history displayed well. Would definitely recommend popping in to this museum.

We came here for the second year running to see the panto! Fantastic again. Great cast, funny show and a well stocked cafe to fill up before, during and after. Well done to all involved. We loved it. Coming back next year!!

Interesting to me because of the R.A.F. Dambusters, and Margaret Thatcher. More local history in the Wetherspoons pub nearby.

Brilliant little museum with so much to learn. Had a truly wonderful time here and hope the volunteers are able to keep this going. A wonderful little find.
