Much under rated. View from top is great. It might be in the middle of the industrial estate but it's a little piece of history just waiting to be discovered.

Started walking towards this. Miles from pier it seems. As we neared it appeared to be behind wooden hoardings so we turned back as toddler getting grumpy. Looks interesting, but badly placed.

Their is free parking near to the monument but beware it is a long walk into the main shopping street REGENT ST.. But this is a great monument to honour NELSON and also not far away is the NELSON MUSEUM which has loads of NELSON...More
