Always a pleasant walk around the park which is kept tidy and clean. It was half term and the park was full of families enjoying the sunshine and having fun. The small gauge railway and the train was working with many people enjoying the ride

A lovely clean park. Nice little pond. Delightful cafe. Ample parking.Quite a steep driveway down to the park.

Shibden Park in my opinion is the best park in Halifax. Decent play area with swings/slides etc, boat rides, train for kids, cafe, spacious area for playing sports, relaxing, picnic. big car park, fantastic.

Shibden Park has much offer, from a museum, to boats, to a railway ride! It is a very pleasant place to spend a few hours, with good parking and a nice cafe.

The boats are available in the warmer weather at weekends and school holidays, and have seen them during the week occasionally, but they don't hire out after around September until Easter time. I suppose they don't get the... More
