Easily the best place In the area for quality of food and not expensive. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Sunday lunch is especially exceptional and 6 real ales to choose from! Wonderful!

Great food freshly prepared and served by friendly staff. My vegetarian cottage pie was the best ever and my partner's roast pork was wonderful. We shall certainly return.

I love this pub! I love the food... just wish there was more staff. I waited quite a while to be served Friday tea time. I’ve been on a Sunday and felt the same too. Lovely proper pub

Nice friendly atmosphere, feeling like a nice local now. Selection of real ales, lager, cider and guinness is spot on. Eaten there several times over the last few months and never been disappointed. Excellent home cooked food, good deals too.
