We heard about the beer festival over the Bank Holiday weekend and called in for a drink - stayed all afternoon the bands were great and staff very friendly, polite and created a fabulous atmosphere. First time we’d been here and we’ll definitely be back!

Been here a few times but since it has been decorated, new furniture, candles and decor what a great bar,fantastic beer, lovely friendly staff. Great live music. Would definitely recommend.

Always spot on here, beer is high quality and well looked after. My favourite is the traditional Cock o the North 5%. I buy bottle of the stuff for Xmas presents. Atmosphere good and friendly staff
