Went through beautiful courtyard to get to the venue, which is just to one side of the square. Square looked great, but will be even better when more units are occupied. Venue was still very new- bar was great, with a wide range of ales/ciders...More

Looks good but not a lot to recommend when there. One or two cafes for snack type food but no restaurants as such. Shops are also thin on the ground with no major names.

Went here for drinks after work in one of the bars in the courtyard. It was a gin bar and they had a great selection of gins. The renovations are really impressive and a real asset to the town. Worth a visit for sure. Handy...More

A very well laid-out and popular building, with a large open courtyard, interesting shops and cafes. When I was there, the temperature was in the mid 20s; with a coffee and pastries, you could easily imagine yourself in Italy. The whole building is a credit...More

Visited with a friend at end of June in a very hot day. What a fantastic place to visit and I didn't realise it even existed. It is like a Tuscan square shipped from Italy rebuilt in Halifax. It was a trading hall for Yorkshire...More

5 minute walk from the railway station brings you to this historic cloth hall. Bespoke retailers and cafe and bars now inhabit the rooms used by cloth merchants. Visited on a hot sunny afternoon and it felt like being abroad in a piazza. Would recommend...More

You have to see it to appreciate Piece Hall. In its refurbished form it is a stunning attraction. This building simply is the history of the area, but now with a great range of bars, restaurants and boutiques around it. Don't miss the gin bar.
