Helpful crew, a nice way to get over to Hayling Island and providing you check bus timings then no problems, across the the water on the Hayling side is the Ferry Boat Inn who do a fair selection of food etc at a good price.

The ferry over to Hayling Island saved a long car journey by road & it was much more enjoyable. The skipper & his mate were really helpful & polite. The ferry, itself, was cozy inside or you may prefer to take in the sea breezes...More

Langstone Harbour is a pit of a poor relation to Chichester Harbour. It does not attract the sailors and have the facilities of Chichester. You can walk or cycle down the eastern side of the harbour by following the Hayling Billy trail which runs down...More

Well worth a visit, it's within easy reach of the A27 but a whole World away from the hustle and bustle of modern traffic.

Nice quiet place. Lovely walk wakes a few times around but be careful as my dog managed to cut her paw really badly on glass washed up and resulted in her bleeding everywhere and a massive Vets bill.
