I must admit I haven' been in this museum since it was taken over by a private company. It is hasn't changed inside then it's well worth a visit. The museum holds artifacts from a wide range of centuries which are interesting to explore. They...More

Poor visit sadly with the reception desk unmanned, staff nowhere to be seen, not an awful lot to do if you can’t pay to get in due to lack of staff. Shame as could be a nice little afternoon out

Waited in reception for at least 10 minutes having rung the bell 3 times but nobody came to attend us despite us having our cash ready for entrance fee and coffees. Don't think there was anyone in the museum at all. Really disappointed not to...More

Harlow museum isn't very large, but it's well laid out and provides an informative walk through local history. If the weather's nice, the walled gardens outside are particularly pleasant. All in all, good value at only £2 admission.

Alovely small but packed museum housing artefacts and bikes there are activities for children and a small tea room. The ground are well cared for and very pretty. often outside plays are put on (need to book and look for dates).

The museum is quite small but has some very interesting objects to look at, Roman coins, old fashioned bicycles, 40s, 50s & 60s washing powder boxes etc. The walled gardens are beautiful when the sun shines & the smell of lavender fills the air.
