Harlow museum isn't very large, but it's well laid out and provides an informative walk through local history. If the weather's nice, the walled gardens outside are particularly pleasant. All in all, good value at only £2 admission.

We came here for a Summer holiday drama workshop for our children (aged 7 and 4). It was early morning at the weekend and they were the only 2 children at the workshop! My 7 year old is quite shy and can be quite nervous...More

Alovely small but packed museum housing artefacts and bikes there are activities for children and a small tea room. The ground are well cared for and very pretty. often outside plays are put on (need to book and look for dates).

The museum is quite small but has some very interesting objects to look at, Roman coins, old fashioned bicycles, 40s, 50s & 60s washing powder boxes etc. The walled gardens are beautiful when the sun shines & the smell of lavender fills the air.

This is my "go to" place with my young granddaughters. The walled gardens are lovely with several different areas, including what our girls like to call the maze, which is a knot garden and you don't have to worry about them having a bit if...More

Larger than you might think and set in delightfully tranquil grounds insulated from the busy roads surrounding it.

Firstly the museum is outside of the town centre but, well worth the walk. It sits inside a large walled garden which is perfect for younger children to let off steam. In the summer there are often events held in the garden, puppet shows, clown...More

Visited briefly with 2 of our children. Not expensive to get in but the shield making activity felt a bit steep. Museum is very small but good for little ones as there are activities as you walk round. The grounds are great and v picturesque.
