I have lived in this area for about 55 years and today (28.10.18) I went to the Gibberd Garden for the first time. This was a special event, to see Autumn colours. The Garden has been kept since Sir Frederick's Wife dies earlier in the...More

I very relaxed laid back garden to visit. Less formal than most but tranquil and peaceful. A wonderful place to get away from the busy hubbub of life yet so close to a busy town. Very much worth a visit and I shall visit again.

The gardens are maintained by local volunteers and open to the public to enjoy for a small fee. Includes a small cafe which provides the useful cakes, tea and coffee. Dogs are also welcome as long as they are kept on the lead.

This garden is well off the beaten track. So you will need either an Uber from Harlow Mill station (around £7 single) or sat nav in your car. Hopefully, you’ve picked a day when the Gibberd rooms are open. As it’s an insight to how...More

Great for families with lots to do for children and great for adults when beer festival is on lots of beer and live music!

The gardens are so nice, shame that the area which was once upon a time a lovely field is now being made into a housing estate. Still, this is not the gardens fault! I just wish they didn't charge so much to go in, it...More

When we visited there were a couple. Given the nature of the gardens I cannot believe you would be turned away. On the lead is a definite and clear up any "deposits` that may occur yourself. Respect goes a long way and in... More
