Consulting Pevsner looking for a stimulating place to visit in the rain. Found the previously unknown Gibberd Garden. Set out after lunch. Instincts well rewarded. A series of garden rooms, of different sizes and characteristics, lead into one another to create shade, draw in sunlight,...More

Sunday morning family stroll around Gibberd garden to see the spring snowdrop flowers.... boy was it cold! But the scenery - both flowers and artwork were quite nice as was the coffee in the cafe... worth a visit if you have a couple of hours.

Beautiful garden, snowdrops were amazing, small river running through added to the attraction. Lovely cuppa tea to end the visit.

Such a great time something for every one. Let's hope the new housing estates being built on the fields in front don't spoil a great place.
