Beautiful architecture. And a very interesting collection, displayed well put Shetland in many contexts. Great boat collection. Interesting geology, and commerce plus fascinating artifacts. Delightful experience. Great for all ages. Next to a movie theater, and right on the waterfront.

Free to all visitors, but there is a donations box, so please put a few pennies in there! There are a HUGE variety of exhibits and the gallery always has new artists showing. Great for a rainy day. Very well thought out displays.

Visited last week. Lots of interesting exhibits and some interactive displays. Our kids enjoyed doing the treasure hunt. A great, free museum. I felt as though I learnt lots!
