Friendly faces when you enter, good range of beers. Warm in winter and shady cool in summer - our most recent visit. A clean and proper English Public house. Not expensive or pretentious - like some of Knutsford.

I was mislead by the photograph of food. I enquirer if they were serving food because I could see no evidence of any an was told they have no kitchen.

We popped in for a drink, wow it’s like stepping back in time, it’s a proper English pub, if your in Knutsford you must pop in.

This is a very traditional pub - house bitter is Tetleys, and there are generally two guest ales, often from local breweries. Beer is well kept. It's a friendly pub, but it's worth noting they no longer do food, apart from the odd pork pie...More

Excellent pub. Original, not wrecked by modernising. Good beers. Liked by locals. The local Tattons bitter is very nice. Good for a drink and chat. No food at present.
