WOW! Who knew choosing a new fragrance can be such a rousing, delicious, explosion of flavours and memories. Never again will I be going nose blind in the airport duty free. I can not convey adequately how pleasurable this experience has been and how highly I would recommend a visit to the store. Three of us visited for a private consultation for my Mum which was a present from her daughter-in-law. Peter was the quintessence of perfumery. His knowledge, humour and genuine love of the subject enhances your shopping experience vastly, whether you're just browsing or enjoying a consultation. We left with some pertinent samples and of course Mum left with a bottle of her favourite. Thank You to Peter and Mel for a delightful experience. xx

I recently came across this amazing shop via a Google search, Wow! I'm glad I did, Peter the MD is a fabulous fella, he went out of his way to sauce a very rare perfume My wife had been seeking for some time, and then sent it down to Dorset in double quick time for Me.... This shop is a hidden gem! I stumbled across it by chance while walking through Knutsford in Cheshire and walked in to be greeted so kindly and warmly by Melanie. I told Melanie what i was browsing for and she showed me all the different options that were available to me. I wasn’t able to make a purchase at the time but there were no pushy sales or anything from Melanie - her passion and knowledge on perfumes alone is contagious and enough to convince you to return. A month later, I travelled all the way from Nottingham to Knutsford again just to return to this shop and make the purchase. Again, I was met very warmly by Melanie and Peter who’s exclusive range of perfumes, expert knoweledge and passion for perfumes make this the best perfume shop around! I will definitely be returning again and introducing more friends and family to this shop.

Me and my boyfriend visited and Melanie gave us an in depth tour of the fragrances around the beautiful store. She told us the story to each brand and particular fragrance which made it a lovely visit. We will definitely be back. They have such a brilliant array of scents, well worth a trip.

Shopping for wedding perfume with my daughter we were recommended to try pulse of perfumery. This was the an amazing experience not only did we get the most gorgeous and different perfumes but we learned so much. We left feeling like family can’t wait to go back.

What a lovely welcoming perfume shop with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We were visiting with our young grand daughter and she was shown several perfumes which she of course loved! Thank you for looking after us so well. We will definitely return.

I went to Selfridges last week to find some perfume for my wife’s birthday. I wandered around for a good 40 minutes searching for an ideal scent whilst being sprayed left right and centre by young girls pushing their brand. I left soon after with some leather goods having being over whelmed and over sprayed in the perfume department. If only I had come across Pulse of Perfumery a week earlier. I found this establishment by chance after picking my wife up from Knutsford. I don’t know how I have missed this place over the years. We were wandering past when the amazing smells drew us into the store. We were greeted by the owner Peter who welcomed us like an old school friend. We were chatting for ages and he was getting to know what smells we liked, our previous scents, and general chit chat. All the time Peter was getting to know what smells would work for us. He did some blind tests on us and worked well to really get to know what works for each of us, the best smell for longevity, etc. The whole time was an experience. We had no intention of making a purchase that day. However, we both came away with amazing fragrances that were unique and out of this world. I will have no reason to go to Selfridges in the future (other than return the leather goods). My first stop will be Pulse of Perfumery to see Peter and his amazing team! Thank you guys!

Hitting a big birthday milestone very soon and I wanted to discover my own signature scent that would really reflect who and where I am in my life. The experience of discovering my scent identity was incredible. Peter took the time to create a space that was all about me and my decisions and instincts for the scents he gave me to test, all of which were selected by Peter based upon my own preferences (these were inspired by smells of my youth and life to date). This was an utterly magical experience and I will never look at perfume buying in the same way ever again. The emotive scent I chose.. I've been told to keep that a secret!
