Love this park. So accessible and with so many areas to explore. Not many parks can boast a carillon, bowling green, bandstand, play area, maze, local museum and aviary in one place. It's well maintained and sometimes supervised, so large groups of rowdy youths littering...More

We stayed in a hotel near by and popped for a picnic here as was a hot day, the park has a brilliant children's facilities with play area plus plenty of clean toilets, the park was clean and tidy and was well looked after.

Nice park near the centre of town and generally a quiet place to stop and recharge. Always well maintained, clean and safe with a small cafe and centrepiece of the Carillon. Enjoyed my stop off in between meetings.
