Brilliant place to visit, plenty of photos, and well researched history of the naval fleet from Lowestoft!! We went to find my husbands grandfathers history as he had been on the minesweepers for the North Atlantic convoys. Very helpful volunteers!!!!!! Would be an excellent day...More

Although the museum is only quite small and and not particularly well sited it contained masses of artifacts and information relating to the Royal Naval Patrol Service based in Lowestoft in WW2 together with information about civilian casualties etc at that time

Enjoyed seeing some of the memorabilia in there, particularly as I served on HMS Lowestoft. Also found lots of interesting info on the war-time exploits of the RN patrol crews in WW2.
