This is the second visit to Rutland water staying in a lodge at the edge of the lake. The hotel on the complex looks very inviting called the Barnsdale hall hotel. There are plenty of things to do wether it be walking round the lake....More

Spent a day here, nice walking and had a trip on the Rutland belle. The trip on the water is well worth the extra. Thought car park charge was a little expensive.

There is a birdwatching centre which is open all year ,I believe. Great place for information and recent sightings.
