Well tended grounds with fabulous wrought iron gates (needing a little lick of paint in parts) at the entrance. The grounds extend to the front and back.

I visited Warrington Town Hall as part of the Vol Fest 2018 event in June. Pros: Friendly staff Refreshments (At the event) Able to look around the town hall and explore heritage Gardens well presented and tidy Parking available

Driving out of Warrington, drove past the Town Hall with its impressive gilded metal gates. So stopped to take a closer look and up close you can really see the workmanship that went into forging them. Well worth a look.

Worth a visit but don't look down. Sankey Street is easily the filthiest part of the town centre. Needs a scrub.

Looks such an impressive building with the gates that should have been at Buckingham palace. Unfortunately when Queen Victoria saw the gates a Statue of Oliver Cromwell was behind them. So she didn't want them
